January AGAIN?, seems like only yesterday we were filled with the
excitement of our new sponsor, Spectrum Illuminations and preparing the
car for Detroits' Autorama for the big debut. We had a GREAT season, a
new performance record 5.811 along with a victory over Radar and the
Crate.
Along with a host of other terrific outings and seeing alot of our
old friends around the country, the Frantic Fueler team feels very
fortunate to do what we do. On each outing we strive to do the very
BEST we can, regardless if we are racing or at a show we pride
ourselves on trying to do better each time out.
As winter has a firm grasp on us here in the Midwest, you can't
help but wonder what life would be like if we were in California or
Florida. At least we get a small amount of time to regroup, get some
parts together and freshen things up. Look for the Frantic Fueler team
to bring out some EXCITING changes for the 2009 season, Dragster Dave
has been working hard on some improvements and we are chomping at the
bit to get back on track.
One of our first outings will be Drag Expo, we will be supporting
Competition Fabrications and banging the Pro Fuelers drum LOUDLY. It's
a great social program to break up an otherwise long and cold winter.
Also that weekend will be World of Wheels, even if we aren't displaying
a car we usually make a point to take in the show and support the ISCA.
It may be winter, but things are heating up FAST!!!!!
C'ya out there,
Scott
